An antique, sterling silver curb link Albert watch chain, crafted by Birmingham manufacturers, E.P / Edwin Page. With the chain bearing a Chester hallmark for year 1910/1917 (hard to distinguish).
At a longer length of 16.5” than is commonly seen, and with a link width of 5mm throughout, this chain would make a perfect daily wearer, especially as both dog clips are in strong working order.
- Weight | 27.6 grams
- Length | 16.5”
- Link width | 5mm
- Material | 925 Sterling Silver
Rupert Rose highlights
- Both dog clips in very strong working order
- Longer length than usually seen, especially in uniform width
- Lion passant hallmarks to all links
Additional notes -
Both dog clips match, however interestingly they bare different date letters - 1909 & 1910 (likely, matching the chain).

Please note, as with all antique jewellery, these pieces will have some surface wear and patina/tarnish. In order to retain their individual character, I do not offer machine polishing. However, all pieces are thoroughly cleaned.
It's important to me that I'm transparent about the condition of my pieces whilst representing them with accuracy. Photos are often magnified and may highlight 'imperfections' which may not be so present to the naked eye.
Any props and boxes shown in photos are for product photography purposes only. Your item(s) will come specially packaged in a Rupert Rose branded jewellery box.
