A highly sought after, solid (not hollow) Sterling Silver Albert chain, featuring desirable thick mariner links separated by oval cable links with a generous weight.
At 16.5” in length with two dog clips, this chain can be worn on its own, paired with an additional extender or pendant of choice. A striking link combination, this chain has great texture and density, looking fabulous around the neckline.

Additional Information - the t-bar bares the Birmingham makers mark for H.A&S / Henry Allday & Son for 1901/1907 (bottom of date letter hard to determine). I am stringent when it comes to grading findings, so my view is that one dog clip (maker appears to be B&S / B H Britton & Sons) is a little soft in operation yet secure, however the second (maker SS / Samuel Smith) is in good working order.
Some of the oval cable links have been soldered for added security, the rest remain open but secure.
The large jump ring attached to the t-bar is misshapen, and the hallmark, likely with original date letter is hard to distinguish. This is in my opinion a minor cosmetic note and does not detract from the durability or appeal of the chain (link is solid and soldered).
