Circa 1950's, this large articulated silver fish was crafted by renown Madrid artist, Manuel Garrido - known for his array of intricate, articulated fish ornaments and made from Spanish grade 915 silver.

Originally fitted with green glass eyes, sadly they were damaged prior to my acquisition with one missing. I decided to have them replaced with genuine Emerald cabochons - an upgrade I felt the piece would benefit from and was thrilled with the outcome.

  • Weight | 36.6 grams
  • Length | approx. 12.8cm long
  • Material | Spanish 915 Silver - hallmarked

Rupert Rose highlights

  • Beautiful, highly intricate and detailed engraving work throughout
  • Great size and weight, perfect objet d'art that due to it's articulation is free-standing and can be placed in different positions
  • Signed and hallmarked - great condition for its age

Please note, as with all antique and vintage jewellery, these pieces will have some surface wear and patina/tarnish. In order to retain their individual character, I do not offer machine polishing. However, all pieces are thoroughly cleaned.

It's important to me that I'm transparent about the condition of my pieces whilst representing them with accuracy. Photos are often magnified and may highlight 'imperfections' which may not be so present to the naked eye.
